David Meanix photos

After searching David Meanix here are three pieces of his art that enjoyed. I his art he takes a photo, he tears it apart and then puts it back together to create a 3D photo. I do like Meanix's photos I think it is amazing to create a 2D photo into 3D photo. Also his style definitely stands out and is unique.

3 photos of combined animals

This week was all about combined animals and i am posting my three favorite pictures. I picked these three because they are all well made, realistic, to an extent,  and are funny. I think in photoshop the tools blur, smudge, burn as well as free transform were used to make these photos.

This strange animal has the body of pig, the head of a puffin, the legs of an elephant and the tail of a raccoon. Nobody knows how this creature came to be or how it survives but it is truly an amazing creature.
                             
  Another strange animal is a combination of a stork and a fish, it is called a fork. The fork lives in swallow water because it can't walk on land or hold its breath long so it usually sits with its head out of the water

This is the turducken, it is a combination of a turkey, a duck, and a chicken. This animal has came from the three animals living soo close together on farms and this is where this animal is found. No turduckens live in the wild so this is truly something special when seen. They live their life as any other farmyard bird, walking around with other chickens, turkeys and ducks and eating seeds whenever it can.

 This is the the cow whale, it gets it name because it has the head of a whale on the body of a cow.It lives it live just as any normal cow, it lives in fields grazing on grass with other whale cows. The whale cow when found is usually with other cows as it is easily accepted into their herds. It also lives a peaceful life usually running from danger but it is also curious. it only differs from a cow because it is a very good swimmer

Today in class Frandy was our guest and taught us about life in Haiti. He showed us pictures of the people, places and things in Haiti. Probably the most significant thing I've  learned today that it no longer looks like an earthquake happened, that the people done an amazing job at cleaning up.

In memory of Ray Charles, me and Liz decided to do blindness as our topic. Blindness is still a problem in society, yet people aren't taking it seriously. That needs to change.

10 things I'm thankful for

For this blog I'm going to show 10 things I'm thankful for

   1 I am thankful for my family, especially because i see them all every sunday

 2 I am thankful for the food my family were able to have this thanksgiving.

 3 I am thankful for my sister who was always there for me my whole life

 4 I appreciate my room, it is small but it has everything a good room needs

 5 I am thankful for the two cars in my garage, i am very proud of them and they make me stand out to other people.

 6 I am also thankful for  my house which i was raised in.

 7 Im thankful for my bike which for so long was the only way of transportation, other then walking that I was in control of

 8 This is the painting equipment I used with my dad, I am thankful for this because i could spend time with my dad and I was paid for it also.

 9 I am thankful for bowling which I have become very good at and it is very enjoyable

10  Finally I am thankful for my phone, without it i would still have to remember everyones phone number and use a house phone.

this picture is sort of difficult to see but for my old meets new project I used a very old illustration and then a added a black and white picture of a man standing on a motorcycle.

For homework I had to edit three photos using pizap.com, I had to include a border, text, and stickers into each photo

old magazine and new magazine

   using the same photo I was able to create an old weathered looking magazine cover as well as a modern      cover

Magazine cover comparison

Between old and new magazines there are many obvisious differences and similarities. In new magazines the cover is altered in some form to make the image clearer, in old covers the image was never altered. In both cover the format is the same, theres one main focus with the title above.
